| "It's Great to be Canadian!"
By Dani Hargarten Since joining Progress in 1995, I have had the opportunity to be a part of, or witness to, events too numerous to mention that truly embody what it means to me to be a member of this great organization and to show pride in being Canadian. There are three instances that I would like to share that stand out as some of my most special memories. October 1998: Beacon Hill, Victoria, BC September 2005: Radisson Hotel, Saskatoon,
SK
Each year upon returning home from our National Convention, I always share stories with my non-Progress friends, family and work associates. Every year has something special to offer and this year was certainly no exception. I only hope I am able to impart some of the feelings and atmosphere in my telling to create more interest in Progress. Maybe this will inspire other members to go out and share their experiences - you never know when something you tell someone might just click and have them say "I want to be part of that - how do I join?" Many thanks, again, to the 2007 National Convention Committee for hosting our membership in beautiful Niagara Falls - it's like having your whole family together again!
