Halifax Cornwallis:  Exceeding Expectations

The Canadian Progress Club, Halifax Cornwallis was able to make our major charity, Phoenix Youth Programs very happy at a recent lunch meeting. We presented them with an additional cheque for $15,000 bringing our total annual contribution this year to $60,500.

Phoenix Youth Programs provides, among other services, a long-term shelter for homeless youths, male and female. Alcohol, abuse, neglect and conflict are a few of the many reasons why teenagers find it necessary to leave home. Phoenix Youth Programs provides a home, counseling and support services for these youths while they are in school.
