Celebrating the
Life of Donna J. (Peterkin) Breedon
July 10, 1952 to September
28, 2005
Submitted by Margaret A. (Peterkin) French
When I Come to the End of the Road
And the sun is set for me
I want no rites in a gloom-filled room
Why cry for a soul like me
Miss me a little, but not too long
And not with your head bowed low
Remember the love that we once shared
Miss me – but let me go.
For this is a journey we all must take
And each must go alone
For it is part of the Master’s plan
A step on the road to home
When you are lonely and sick of heart
Go to the friends we know
And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds
Miss me – but let me go.
As
President of the Canadian Progress Club, York Region Women, Donna
involved the club with, Hill House Hospice, Richmond Hill Food Bank,
Catholic Community Services, Team Diabetes, and she was a strong
supporter of the Alzheimer’s Society of York (however she passed on the
Breakfast Meetings).
Donna also carried on the tradition of Christmas
Baskets for the elderly and of course Christmas Families.
Donna will be missed by all that knew her and for all
that she did.
Say hi to Mom and Dad.
