| Greater Moncton Inducts 17 New Members
Submitted by Richard Daley Men and women join progress for a number of reasons, all of which are noble and selfless with a focus on community service. When a member leaves the club the culprit is usually time or more precisely lack thereof. Family and/or one’s job are usually in demand for a bigger piece of that 24 hour a day pie. It is often with regret that a member has to, at least temporarily, step away from the club to refocus their lives. This common yet inevitable truth is what we are in Progress. And when members leave there are gaps in the club makeup that temporarily seem like they cannot be filled, but here in Greater Moncton more than enough new potential members have come forward to check out the club, and have decided to make the commitment by taking part in our annual Inauguration night. During this night of fine dining brought to you by Chef Scott and his professional team, recognition is given to these new members for deciding to give to their community and the people in it on a regular basis. While being sworn in they contemplate how their future actions will impact those who so often need a hand up. On this night a groundbreaking number of new Progressians have stepped forward to fill the void of members who would normally rally behind our fellow citizens in need. Congratulations to our new inductees. In choosing to be an active member you are choosing to participate in a number of fulfilling activities that will give you a sense of pride, completeness and gratification. Welcome to the team boys.
