Dear Fellow Progressions,

The most exciting and wonderful thing happened at convention this year. Our CPCF luncheon was a hit, as always, however, this year we went over the top. In an exciting 20 minutes, over $60,000.00 was raised to take us to our Million Dollar goal. Our launch of “Sprint to the Finish” was barely introduced before the donations started rolling in.

My sincerest thanks to every one of you for your incredible generosity. Over the years you have supported the Foundation through your mandatory assessment, banner and pin donations and, of course, through the silent auction items that you donated and then bid on. Congratulations on your great efforts, from coast to coast, to support individuals with an intellectual disability.

I am honored to have walked the walk of many of my fellow Progressians who have served on the Foundation Board. Congratulations to all past Governors on your efforts and hard work over the years. To the present members of the Board, my sincerest thanks for your help and support. There is still much to do and I look forward to working with you, in this, my last year on the Board.

My special thanks to the guys “on the bus – or rather in the field”. We had a great time at your expense. Thanks for being such great sports. To those of you who missed convention, you will just have to get the story from your club members that were there.

Please know that the Governors will continue to visit your clubs. We will continue to work hard in our efforts to move forward ensuring the security of the funds raised and plans for future efforts.

Isaac Newton once said “If I have seen further, it is by standing on the shoulders of giants”. Thank you for being my giants!
