Halifax-Cornwallis recognized

Halifax-Cornwallis receives the Patron Award at Phoenix Youth’s “Salute to Giving” evening of recognition for their generous contribution and support to Phoenix Youth Programs.

The organization supports at-risk and homeless youth within our extended community.  Their intent is to break the cycle of homelessness by offering a wide range of programs and services.

Kathy Grose, President accepted the award on behalf of the club who has donated more than $400,000 since they started their partnership with Phoenix Youth.  Ms. Grose was pleased to provide an additional $5,000 cheque that evening from proceeds of their successful fundraising event “Runaround”.
