Sherwood Park launches a new fundraiser

On 1, June the Canadian Progress Club Sherwood Park launched a coin box collection drive to help children of Strathcona County.

The boxes were placed at local businesses for the month of June and its success depends on the generosity of the people of Strathcona County.  The drive wrapped up at the pancake breakfast hosted by the club on 1, July Canada Day Celebrations.

Money raised will help support programs aiding children in need, such as the Strathcona Food Bank, Sherwood Park Collective Kitchens, Breakfast for Learning and Uncles and Aunts at Large.
