Second Annual Antler Breakfast raises money for Hospitals

With tongs clicking to the tune of White Christmas, after a night of preparation the men of the Greater Moncton Progress Club were more cheerful than ever while serving over eleven hundred fellow Monctonians a breakfast that would fill them for the day.  What a feat and what a breakfast.

It all started earlier that week with the three wise men canvassing Main Street for ticket sales and the rest of the members preparing for the big day which turned out to be one amazing breakfast.  With chef Scotty at the helm he made no apologies for running a tight ship and keeping it all professional.  Like Scotty says, “You only get one chance to make a first impression”, and what an impression was made.

Ernie Steeves and Lisa Marshall, members of the “Breakfast Club” from radio station C- 103 broadcasted live while scoffing down their own breakfast.  Teamwork was the key. Do your job and be happy about it.  From serving up ham to ragging tables each and every one of the members of the club did their jobs with enthusiasm.

The citizens of Moncton came through once again and made this event the success it was.  It was without a doubt the best breakfast you could get for $5.00, and the money will be going to the local hospitals and “McNaughton Youth Parenting Center”.  Thank you Greater Moncton.
