The Red Door

Toronto Trillium

On December 21st the women of Toronto Trillium came together to wrap gifts, gifts and more gifts for residents of The Red Door Family Shelter.  Toronto Trillium sponsored a family of 3 teens and provided gifts for each.  This complemented several bags of toys donated through President Karen Mrkonjic’s company – De Beers Canada Inc.  This gesture of kindness contributed to all 42 children at the shelter over the holiday season to receive gifts.

This is the 4th year that Toronto Trillium has participated in this endeavour.

On a semi-annual basis, Toronto Trillium women hold a clothing drive for The Red Door. In addition to clothing, Trillium receives household items, furniture and non-perishable food from friends and co-workers to donate to the shelter.  The association with The Red Door Family Shelter is beneficial for both Toronto Trillium and The Red Door.
