| Congratulations, Calgary! Alberta
South Zone The Alberta South Zone would like to extend congratulations to the Calgary clubs in being chosen as the recipient of the 2004 Generosity of Spirit Award, in the category of Outstanding Philanthropic Group presented by the Association of Fundraising Professionals. The Calgary Progress Clubs were nominated by Big Brothers & Big Sisters in appreciation for their 10 years of service and support which includes over $3 million raised and over 18,000 hours of community service contributed. Congratulations also goes out to the following Calgary clubs and members in winning these National Awards presented at the 2004 convention in Edmonton: Patti Nolan - National Progressian of the Year, Carlos Pardo - Hall of Fame, Calgary City Centre - Club of the Year, Calgary North - National Community Service Award.
