Halifax Cornwallis:  Club Honoured by Charity

Halifax-Cornwallis was recently honored for their tremendous contributions to the work of Phoenix Youth Programs over the past year.

The “Salute to Giving” Donor Recognition and AGM was held June 23, 2004 where companies and individuals were recognized for their valued contributions.

“Together we are helping to transform despair into hope.  Our common goal is to support at risk and homeless youth within our extended community” said Tim Crooks, Executive Director of  PYP as he presented to fellow Progressians Kathy Grose (incoming president) and Lorna MacMillian (PYP board representative) the Patron of Hope plaque.  This is a special thank you for Halifax-Cornwallis’ contributions of $45,000 for the current year and a total of over $300,000 since the club began supporting PYP!
