Greater Moncton:  Taking Time Out for R&R

You call that hockey?
Oxygen! Oxygen!  That was the call of the panting wannabees of the Moncton Progress Club as they took to the ice for an hour of painful exhaustion.  Oh how times have changed.  Can you remember when you didn’t want to come off the ice?  Well on this fine afternoon the fight was for prime bench space.

(Top right:  Greater Moncton Progress members and friends)

Chants from the pseudo-cheerleading wives spurred the lethargic gliding bodies on through the full three periods.  Cheering ... laughing ... whatever!   Led by Tim Daley up front and Jamie McGloin between the posts, the Progress team squeaked out the victory.  Everyone on and off the ice had a great time.

Bonding
The men of the Greater Moncton Progress Club work together throughout the year on a number of worthy fundraisers, and what better way to encourage teamwork and club camaraderie than to partake in an afternoon of exercise, a basket of wings and a beverage.

There is a strong bond forming within the Moncton Progress members that is creating somewhat of a big family.  This bond can only lead to bigger and better things for the members of Moncton Progress Club and their fellow Monctonians.
