"Progress and More in 2004"

By Keith Hook

The days are getting longer and the time is getting shorter before convention time arrives.

We’re putting together a great show for you with lots of things to do and see.  We’ve got some great speakers you won’t want to miss—informative and entertaining—guaranteed to keep you awake even after a night at the hospitality suite.

Starting Wednesday 29, September we urge you to get here early register and enjoy being at the largest mall in North America.  Prepare to take in the Caribbean beach party planned for you at the Water Park.  There will be tasty dishes and an authentic Caribbean steel band will provide music for your dancing pleasure from 7–10 PM.  You can then complete the evening at one of the popular hospitality rooms until 2 a.m.

Thursday, things get rolling after breakfast with regional meetings from 9–10:15.  After a short break you will be entertained until noon by the wit and wisdom of Kit Grant.  After lunch and more entertainment we will break out into information workshops.  The evening ends with a visit to Fort Edmonton where you will experience true warm western hospitality and entertainment.  Casual western dress is optional but will add to the ambiance of what is planned.  Once again you can end the evening with more entertainment at a hospitality suite back at the hotel.

This is all for now, but enough to give you a flavor of what you can expect.  Lots more, which you won’t want to miss is planned for Friday and Saturday. Some of the items are being finalized and details will be given to you in the next update.

If you haven’t already done so please get your registrations and hotel reservations in ASAP.
