It is apparent from the reports received from the Governors that visitations are happening at the club and Regional level. The Governors have made a commitment to attend all clubs to keep members up-to-date on the happenings of the Foundation and to ensure everyone is informed of the voting process that will take place at convention in Edmonton. This picture is an indication to all that the Foundation is continuing on the road to success. Regina Assiniboine was presented with their CPCF banner at a recent club meeting. Accepting the banner is incoming President, Judy Lyons (pictured below).
The Board is pleased to welcome Jim Grant from Moncton, who will be attending his first meeting in Edmonton and to Peter Billiard from St. John’s who got his feet wet at our March meeting. We also welcome those Progress members that have volunteered to sit on our Investment Committee, headed by John Nunn. We appreciate your expertise and the time you are committing to ensure that we are on track with our investments. Our goal to the Million is very close and with that in mind the Board has come up with a “Sprint to the Finish” proposal that will be presented to all members in the very near future. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Governors for their hard work during the weekend. I am very pleased with all we accomplished. I look forward to the next few months of preparation for the National Convention in Edmonton in September 2004. And as always, I look forward to seeing my fellow Progressians from all across Canada.
