It's been a busy 2003!  We started out with our inauguration and we haven't stopped since…

McNaughton Daycare
Our first big event was for the McNaughton Daycare, which the Greater Moncton Men's Club supports.  To help these single mothers (and a few fathers) we went in search of children's and adult's clothing as well as toys, formula and anything else that could help and opened our very own store.  The members of the Daycare were given "money" and able to come in to purchase items that they needed.  The reaction was one of amazement at the amount of items that were available and we even amazed ourselves at how much we gathered.  The store was a resounding success.

Casino
A great night was had by all who attended the Casino Night with the Men's Club as we practiced our Las Vegas dealing skills.

Mother's Day Basket
Our first fundraiser was a draw for a fabulous Mother's Day basket, designed by our own Joanne Reid and made up of items donated by local retailers.  The basket raised over $500 for our fledgling group.  We have partnered with the Greater Moncton YWCA to help local women in need and our first fundraiser for the YWCA was a huge yard sale.  It was a long day with set up beginning at 6am but it was all worth it when we were able to donate over $1500 to the YWCA.

With another year about to get under way we are raring to go!
