Funding Strathcona County Special Olympics
Last month the Canadian Progress Club Sherwood Park was pleased to make a donation of $4000 to Leanne Mongomery on behalf of Strathcona Special Olympics.

The picture on the right shows President Gerry Hill, Leanne Montgomery and Darlene Gmeinweser, a community support worker with the Strathcona Special Olympics.

Through the generosity of businesses in Sherwood Park the Sherwood Park Club was able to raise $12,000 (20% of the total annual charitable funds raised) at their annual Charity Auction. These funds enable the club to provide funds to the Strathcona Special Olympics several other charitable activities in the community.

New Member Induction
Last month the Canadian Progress Club Sherwood Park inducted Jason Krause as a new member to the club.

The picture on the right shows Jason, his wife Amber and Vickie Gauthier wife of Richard Gauthier the club member who sponsored Jason.  We wish Jason and Amber an enjoyable time as members of Sherwood Park Progress Club.

Progressian of the Year
Randy Pollock was chosen as the Sherwood Park Progressian of the Year for his sterling contribution to the club and the community during the year.
