Bowl for Kids
Stampede City just wrapped up its 12th year at running Bowl for Kids, in support off Big Sisters & Big Brothers of Calgary and Area.

Over the twelve years, this event has grossed $1,468,000.

This year's efforts saw 515 teams from various businesses and groups from across Calgary participate in 20 nights of fun and bowling.  That means we had 2,575 volunteers collect pledges on behalf of our charity.  We had great corporate support from such firms as CO-OP Stores (with 46 teams), Canada Safeway, Boston Pizza, West Jet Airlines, TD Canada Trust, Bank of Montreal, The Gap Stores, Price Waterhouse Coopers and the Calgary Police Service.  We also want to thank the Progress Clubs in Calgary for their support, as well as the Lions Clubs and Rotary Clubs of Calgary.

Participants enjoyed Elvis and Hawaiian theme night bowling

Our club members worked in excess of 700 hours during the month of March as well as countless hours in the months leading up to the event.  Great Job, Guys!
