Calgary North:
The Inaugural Accessible Housing Society Golf Tournament

On September 5th, 2002, CPC Calgary North, in conjunction with the 7:30 News Business Club, held the Inaugural Accessible Housing Society Golf Tournament at Redwood Meadows in Bragg Creek.

Despite temperatures in the single digits and threatening weather, the tournament was a great success with 136 participating golfers.

The entry fee for the tournament was $250.00 and a large number of dollars were raised through contest and hole sponsorships and through a live and silent auction. A major sponsor, Sheila's Drapery, was secured and the tournament raised $33,889.95 for the Accessible Housing Society.

Drinks, food and a good time were had by all and we look forward to making next year's event an even greater success.
