Alberta Special Olympics Breakfast

It was a "Breakfast with Ron McLean" on October 24th at the Calgary Convention Centre.  Billed as the 8th Annual Sports Celebrities Festival, this event was held in support of Alberta Special Olympics.

Among the attendees were Bow River's Todd Berry, Al Gordon, Bill Koenig, Tom Kohl, Barry Kozmyk, Dean Querengesser, Brian Spilchen and Calgary North's Bob Lockhart. The Progressians were joined by former Olympic and World Cup skier Liisa Savijarvi.

Other sports celebrities, including Lanny MacDonald and Bearcat Murray, along with several Special Olympians were also on hand.  The featured speaker was Hockey Night in Canada's Ron McLean.
