"Runaround"
In June, the club's second major fundraiser, Runaround, netted over $18,000.  Runaround is a 5K run/walk in Halifax's Point Pleasant Park.

The club took the opportunity to present additional funding to Phoenix Youth Programs (its primary funding recipient), and also to Nova Scotia Special Olympics at the Party and Prizes portion of the event.

This public gesture allowed the Run participants to witness first-hand how the monies they raised were used.
