CPC Pictou County has finally picked a charity to support: Big Brothers Big Sisters Mentoring Program.  Nine charities spoke to the club's selection committee and they narrowed it down to three before deciding.

Current fundraising activities involve a Veseys Flower Bulbs Campaign, and selling tickets on a Mother's Day basket full of goodies.  The club entered three teams in Curl for Cancer on February 15th and raised $1,000 for the event.  (The local one-day event raised $74,638.14, not bad for a small area like Pictou County).  Some members will be helping out at Big Brothers Big Sisters Bowl on March 23rd.

Always on the lookout to recruit new members, the club has invited ladies from the community to attend.  Finally, in February, some club members joined Halifax-Cornwallis members for a weekend retreat in Hubbards to share ideas and have some fun.
