Spring Fundraiser
Toronto Trillium is holding their fourth annual women's golf tournament at Parkview Golf Club, Markham, Ontario on Thursday, June 6, 2002.  Grab three [female] friends and enjoy a day of golf, breakfast, lunch and dinner and prizes!  Contact Karen Mrkonjic at (416) 391-3680.

Membership
Toronto Trillium adopted a new way of recruiting members this year by creating "job postings" based on standard employee recruiting ads, but ensuring that there was a notation of membership dues.  These are posted in community centers, churches, schools, etc.  Any other distribution ideas are most welcome.

Also, using a website dedicated to Canadian businesswomen, a database of some Toronto companies was created.  We mailed them packages that included an introductory letter, an outline of the job postings, a national brochure, a club brochure, two newsletters and a profile of some of our members.  So far we have three interested parties of 23 people contacted.  We have also obtained a new member who surfed the web, found Progress and contacted us.  Erin Britton comes from a service club oriented family and was drawn to Progress because it's Canadian.  Welcome to the family Erin!

Toronto Downtown and Toronto Trillium hosted National President Al Gordon on March 4th.  Great to see you again Al, and thanks for taking the time out to visit!
