The women's club in St. John's is alive, active and growing. The membership has increased substantially since last year and there are a lot of enthusiastic new members. The first fundraiser of the fall was an attempt at a new concept. It was "The Suitcase Party" and was a great success and will be adopted as an annual fundraiser. The next fundraiser is to take place in February and has a Valentine theme. It is called "Have a Heart" Extravaganza. The evening will include a casino, live and silent auctions, entertainment and dancing, food and a door prize. This is also a change to the annual Valentine's Dinner and Dance that usually takes place. The women of the Quidi Vidi Club have lots of energy and new ideas. June will see the annual Golf Tournament. Congratulations and keep up the good work.
