A word from CPC National President Bill Sornberger...

The first issue of our new “Electronic” Progression…

When I think back on how we did things when I first joined this organization it barely seems like the same Club. That’s probably because it’s hard to believe it’s the same world. Our organization has had to change over the last 5 years quicker than we were able to facilitate it. Things are happening to us in our own lives at such a breakneck speed that we all feel like we are running just as fast as we can to keep up.

Your National Board is very aware of what everyone as an individual and as a member is going through. We have taken many factors into account in an attempt to restructure the current Board while still keeping the geographic make-up of the organization.

There will be many items discussed at this year’s convention that will be taken back to the Clubs by their delegates. I urge everyone to get informed and get involved.

The past year has been a blur for me and as the National President but it was made so much easier serving with such an outstanding Board.

I have traveled from one end of this great country to the other over the past year and learned about what makes this organization a truly unique and extremely driven Club. I was very aware of the fierce pride in every Club’s accomplishments and their desire to do more for the community they served. I was also touched by the generosity shown to me by members I had not yet met but now consider friends.

I cannot put into words how proud I am of having the privilege and the honour to serve this organization over the past year.

These memories I will hold dear for all time.
