01 December 2006    re: Change for Growth

Dear Friends of Progress,

During convention in St. John's this past September the National Board proposed a re-branding of the logo and media campaign. Information was shared with the members attending convention through an educational seminar and at the AGM Saturday. The National Board is well aware that "refreshing the logo" is an initiative that will only be successful with full "buy in" from the entire membership.

Time Line:

  • Information Packages & Survey to all Club Presidents and Area Captains – November 29, 2006

  • Area Captains follow-up with Club Presidents – January 5, 2007

  • Survey Results to Area Captains – January 30, 2007

  • Survey Tallied Results to PR Director – February 5, 2007

Area Captains (by Region):

  • Western Region – Tim West, Wayne Bamford, Brenda Mahoney, Jody Fireman

  • Great Plains – Janey Davies

  • Central Region – Rod Lawrence, Juanita Soutar Eastern Region – Peter Furlong, Crystal Eagan

I would like to thank Tim West, Rod Lawrence and& Janey Davies for coming on board with this project and I look forward to hearing back from everyone remaining with an resounding "YES I'M IN."

The CPC SILKS club, our newest addition to Progress, will be chartered on the evening of September 6th, 2006, at the Italian Cultural Center located at 14230-133 Avenue in Edmonton, Alberta. Cocktails at 6 pm, dinner at 7 pm. Tickets for the event are available at $50.00 per person.  Order forms available here.

Canadian Progress Club Toronto Trillium is holding its 8th Annual "Tee Up for Fundraising" Women’s Scramble Golf Tournament on Monday, June 26, 2006 at Remington Parkview Golf & Country Club, in support of Special Olympics Ontario.  For more information click here.
