The 2002 Progress Open took place on Wednesday at Canmore's Silver Tip Golf Course. 18 holes of world-class golf were followed by a steak dinner and an unusual awards presentation. Forget trophies, golf paraphernalia and the like. This tournament featured prizes such as live chickens for the men's/ladies long drive, a goat for the lowest individual score and a quartet of handsome piglets for the low gross foursome.
