Canadian Progress Charitable Foundation ... An Opportunity for Funding

The Canadian Progress Club is a service club with members from across the country.  Over 20 years ago a foundation was established and the goal of the organization has been to raise a $1 Million Endowment fund in aid of one national charity.  The $1 Million goal is now within reach and the Governors of the Foundation will be reviewing other charitable organizations for future support.

The Foundation is seeking submissions from charitable organizations that would meet the following criteria:

• Have a charitable tax number

• Have operations in the majority of Canadian provinces and territories

• Provide Training, Rehabilitative Services, Programs and/or shelter for physically or mentally challenged persons

Submissions:

1. Description of the charitable organization in the context of the above criteria (3 page Maximum)

2. Geographic scope of service

3. Number of persons served

4. Most significant achievements of the organization

5. Opportunities for Volunteer involvement with members of our organization

6. Recognition and profile for the Canadian Progress Club and Foundation

The Foundation will select three organizations for a presentation to our membership at large during the National Convention AGM in Sherbrooke, Quebec in September.  Each organization must be prepared to pay travel and other costs associated with the presentation.
